LAVS is a non-Government, non-political, non-profit making organization engaged in the field of social development. It was founded by a group of like-minded social activists in the year 1991 and simultaneously registered under society registration act XXI of 1860 in the year 1991. LAVS is a democratic, registered Non-Government Organization. Its affairs are carried out in accordance with a written constitution. It does not work for profit nor serves any sectarian interest. It eschews violence in any form.
